June Foodie Penpals Reveal

Super nice Rachel was my Foodie Penpal this month and she sent me some fun treats! Oh! And one thing we've both learned this month: the heat is not one of our best friends in this programme. As we live in different countries, the package takes a couple of days longer to arrive - which is usually fine. But if you happen to send homemade or more fragile products, they will be more sensitive to the heat and might melt or become mouldy. From now on I'll advise people not to send certain types of produce during the summer. // Oh! E uma coisa que ambas aprendemos este mês: o calor não é um dos nossos melhores amigos no programa. Como vivemos em países diferentes, a encomenda leva mais alguns dias a chegar, o que normalmente não constitui problema. Mas se enviarem produtos caseiros ou mais frágeis, vão ser mais sensíveis ao calor e podem derreter ou ganhar bolor. A partir de agora vou aconselhar as pessoas a não enviar determinados produtos durante o verão.
