Christmas is all about Love. And about all these different layers of sweet moments and memories with our loved ones. Here's one you can make and offer to those who have been nice this year. Christmas Love in a Glass is a layered dessert of cake, almond and cream with a sugary treat on top. Ingredients: For the Sugar Treats: 250g Sidul icing sugar 85g condensed milk 1 coffee spoon hazelnut syrup Icing color: pink Para o Bolo: 75g margarine 100g flour 150g sugar 100ml milk 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For the whipped cream: 200g cream 100g Sidul icing sugar You should start by preparing the sugar treats. In a bowl, mix the icing sugar, the hazenut syrup and the condensed milk. When it becomes easy to handle, shape small hearts or balls. Use pink colorant (or any color you prefer) to make treats of different colours. Reserve. In another bowl, mix the sugar with the softened margarine until it is creamy. Add the eggs. Beat. Finally, add the flour, the milk and the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into paper cupcake cases in a cupcake baking tray and bake them in 170ºC for about 25 minutes. Take the cases off the baking tray when they are cold. Whip the cream. Slowly, add the icing sugar. Start layering your dessert. Choose a glass which is narrow enough to fit a cupcake. Add a cupcake to the bottom with the help of a spoon. Then, add a few spoons of cream. Finally, add a handful of chopped almonds. Repeat the process with cake and cream. Finally, place a sugary treat on top. I'm entering Sidul/Sores competition "Receitas com Glamour" with this recipe as well. If you like it, vote for Alexandra Duarte here. Batam as natas. |
