January. The first month of the year. The month for positive thinking, color, healthy resolutions. Starting with the stomach. Ingredients: 150g tagliatelle 100g shrimp 100g spinach pomegranate seeds salt cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon butter Paladin's coriander and garlic dressing Remove the pomegranate seeds and reserve. Boil the tagliatelle in salted water for 12 minutes. Season the shrimp with salt and just a little hint of cayenne pepper. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat, and fry the shrimp for 3 to 5 minutes. Add the boiled tagliatelle and the spinach and let it cook for 2 minutes. Serve the tagliatelle. Sprinkle a few pomegranate seeds over each dish. If you are like me, you can't think of fried shrimp without garlic. Instead of using it directly, a nice idea is to use it in a dressing - Paladin's coriander and garlic dressing is perfect for that, as it has just the right amount of garlic flavour and, being a dressing, will prevent the pasta dish from becoming dry. I hope you enjoy this colourful, healthy dish! | Janeiro. O primeiro mês do ano. Juntem o talharim cozido e o espinafre e deixem cozinhar durante 2 minutos. Sirvam o talharim.

Eu sempre disse que dêem-me arroz e massa e sou feliz. E não há que ter medo deles. Com água e sal vão muito bem, mas o céu é o limite.
DeleteSimple yet very flavourful and tasty!

DeleteLooks delicious this pasta dish especially with the pomegranates...not only add color but flavor as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week Alex :D
Thank you, Juliana. It's been a nice week so far, and I've just opened the study window and realized it's sunny (it's been raining a lot these past few days): it almost gives me that weekend-mode feeling. :) Have a wonderful week!
DeleteWow, such a nice, healthy recipe. This looks wonderful -- thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And if you love the after-taste of pomegranate seeds as much as I do, hopefully you'll find it addictive (in a GREAT sense), too. :) Have a great weekend! (Not working tomorrow - ah, bliss...)
